A Guide to RPing

RPing, seems simple right, pay as a character. But this guide will help you to good RPing. To start, try to make it entertaining. I'll give you two examples:

Example A wrote:Sparkleleaf walked into the camp. She saw blood and rogue cats everywhere

Example B wrote:Sparkleleaf carefully stepped into the camp. A strange scent mixed with blood, cats, and death was in the air. Hiding in the bushes, she could see what was going on. Pools of blood soaked in the grass dyeing them blood red. With cats shredded to pieces everywhere and unknown cats grinning in front of the dead bodies. Sparkleleaf knew she should go tell the leader, but she wondered if it's already too late.

Now, which one is more exciting to read, Example A or Example B. Well, Example B duh! Example A is two sentences with almost no detail. But remember, while detail is nice, don't overdo it. And never, ever, EVER make a one sentence post, never, I mean it. Usually 4-6 sentences is good. That saying, don't write an entire essay. We don't need 15 sentences to describe you hunting a mouse.

Also, if you're ever going to go OOC (out of character) put it in ( and ). So like if you were away for a while and want to now what happened while you were gone you could do this:

Example C wrote:
(Hey! What's going on right now? Been away for a month so... yeah)

Fernpaw brought the mouse to the fresh-kill pile and gently laid it down there. Nudging it a bit towards the center, and then dashing back into the forest. There, she finds a nice squirrel. Fernpaw leaped on it, quickly killing it. Then she picked it up and headed back to the camp to drop the thing off.

And remember, stay within your character's personality. if you have some super happy nice cat who's never sad or angry and is kind to everyone, then don't make him all of a sudden be angry and hate everyone. Small exceptions are OK but try to make sure your cat will always follow it's personalities.
